Best Western I95 & SR 16

Got to the hotel at 3pm to check in and was told that the housekeepers were short staffed and could we please wait 15/20 minutes. We said sure. We drove to some near by shops and looked around. We came back an hour and a half later at 4:30pm. Checked in got in the room and the minute the door opened the heat knocked us out. The air filters in the ac units probably haven’t been cleaned since they were installed. We stepped into the room and started to smell a strong urine smell that almost knocked us out. The bathroom ceiling was pealing bad from water damage. One of the kids sat on the bed and several bugs came out of the sheets. We decided to immediately check out and leave. The hotel front desk refused to give us our money back and all they said was that they are sorry and would have a housekeeper clean it. As local business owners, we will NEVER recommend this location. IT DOES NOT LIOK LIKE THE PICTURES! They say you get what you pay for ……This was pitiful tho. And the unwillingness to at least give us some of the money back for the 2 minutes we spent in the room.

If I didn’t have to put any rating I would have. This place rates a negative rating as far as I’m concerned. First of all the room was so run down. I didn’t want to touch anything. I slept in my clothes. The bathroom, the sink are, the end table, everything was making my skin crawl. I didn’t even want my dog to walk on the floor in the room. The topper was we woke up to the bathtub filled with filthy water. Omg. It must have backed up during the night. Honestly I feel sick just thinking about it. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The only good thing I can say is that the two ladies behind the front desk were very nice.

Clean, beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly close to food and interstate. Will stay again, normally stop every year when traveling through. Sort of difficult getting into been doing road work for past 2 years. Thats about all I can say, close to shoppig.
