The Saint Augustine Beach House

My husband and I travel from FL to NC a few times a year and we like to have a little beach vacation in St Augustine area. We’ve tried many hotels and short term rentals. We feel like Goldilocks trying to find the perfect place for our needs. I think after many years we have found it. We spent 3 nights there recently and can’t say enough good things about this boutique hotel with 16 rooms I think. This is what we loved about it: -very short walk to beach -exceptionally friendly staff -super clean rooms -outside of building had someone who really has a good eye for attention to detail and it shows -the room was comfortable and most everything we needed -choose your beach chairs & Umbrella with fresh towels. Easy and convenient -really enjoyed the breakfasts. So easy to fill out menu with time and text them when you want to pick up. The scrambled eggs were fresh and fruit very good. Some ppl have mentioned the rooms could be upgraded and yes they could but everything else was so great. It’s fine and it keeps rates down. Don’t hesitate to book as it’s a great place right on beach. Nice and quiet and so convenient. There is construction around the hotel but we didn’t hear it and you will be on deck to see & hear the ocean. Not an issue at all.

The Beach House is a great hotel. Our room was spacious and very clean with an oceanfront balcony. Our day started with a delicious breakfast. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towels made going to the beach very easy. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were sorry to leave after our 5 day stay but we plan to return soon.
