Inn On The Green

When you take a shower and you walk on the floor your feet get dirty again. I had to wash my feet after I got out of the shower. If you stay here, don't stay where the street is located.And make sure if you don't smoke, don't stay in a smoking room. I've never stayed in the smoky movie before and your clothes smell like smoke when you get up. The staff was very pleasant in the rooms were pretty full in the area.So I appreciate just getting a room.

One of my worst experiences in a hotel second day we’re there they may just move because they smell smoke in our room. We did not smoke in the room or go smokes outside, but we’ve got that second morning. We are in the new room. Will you get woke up at about 7 o’clock by the 8 o’clock For housekeeping we had a do not disturb sign on the outside. They knocked anyways the next day 7 o’clock in the morning again, they called the broom because I complained about the do not disturb so they called and just said well just leave the phone off the hook. Do not hang it up. We’re gonna be working on the phone Today. Well, they didn’t hang up either all you could hear them talking people listening you know if they were listening in our rooms, didn’t like defected I told them I didn’t like to play so me and my girl got an argument. She’s disabled she supposed to be downstairs. They got us upstairs. Both brooms and Girl got an argument, cause she wouldn’t stand up herself and go down and tell them that she was disabled. They didn’t proceed that when A day or two said to my girl that she could stay, but that I couldn’t stay no longer because I had an argument with my girl over there. Crap my girls disabled, and doesn’t understand anything. She has mental disabilities and I believe this place is taking full advantage of her I know she’s got her money from Social Security and they’re getting her every which way they can and then the room the second one we got wouldn’t plug something into the wall and it sparked big time and our power kept tripping breaker. Don’t use the microwave. The microwave was only had a couple buns that actually worked and see they replaced that same thing again it was just constant constantly something

We went to Eustis Florida for a wedding, since we had not been there before and did not know the area. The wedding venue suggested staying at Inn on the Green. We reserved a room using the motels website. We checked in late afternoon and went to the room with just enough time to change and leave for the wedding. I did contact the desk to ask for more pillows, we had to wait while they called someone, housekeeping was not onsite. Made it to the wedding just in time. We returned from the reception after 10 p.m. that night. That’s when we realized just how bad this room and this motel was. There was only one old wooden dining chair in the room to sit on. Once we got the TV to work only a third of the screen was viewable. There is a locked closet that has several wires form under the door going across the floor to the baseboard on other walls. The toilet was extremely low like those used in an elementary school. The handicap rail is mounted behind the commode which is of no use at all. The vanity is broken and painted over with mold in the tile seams. The paint is flaking off the walls, the mirrors and other surfaces were not clean. The floors have not been cleaned because the bottoms of your feet turn black when you walked across the room barefoot. There is mold on the bathroom door, floor and shower tile. Because of the late hour there was no reason to try and even contact the office. Which looked like it was closed for the night. If someone was available they may have just offered to send us to another room which based on the condition of the building would have been just as bad. It was too late at night to try and find other accommodations and we were too tired to start our drive home. So we made the best of it by trying to sleep on a lumpy bed which leaned towards the wall. After a few hours we packed up left at 4:00 in the morning. Now I have learned my lesson, always work with a company like TripAdvisor and not the individual Motel. I’m sure I would have got better rates and I would have been able to read the reviews ahead of time. I’m still learning things in my old age.
