Holiday Inn Venice

This place is a dump. If I wasn’t attending an event, I would never stay there. The only highlight is the group catering staff and the fried chicken. The rest of the staff is snotty at best and rude at the worst. Much of the food was just okay or inedible. The rooms are clean, but the AC rattles and the vents are coated in dust. The property is dirty and outdated. Pool chairs are falling apart, the lobby ceiling was leaking, lights in the conference room don’t work, and the internet is spotty or nonexistent.

This was our second day in two months, enjoyed our first three days in August without a complaint. We went to dinner on Saturday and was shocked to come back to the pool being closed and karaoke over. So we go to the room and find out that Internet is down and there's no TV.. your night clerk is very friendly and pleasant to talk to

Older hotel that needs some TLC but you can't beat it for the location, restaurant food and pretty good staff. There are rooms inside the hotel itself as well as outer bldgs. Ground floor and first floor you can use the stairs or elevator. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet and also serve lunch and dinner. The food is always very good. They have a nice pool, gym, laundry room, doggie area, pool bar and a mini shop. The hotel is well located on the U.S 41 Bypass. There are some stores and eateries across the street from hotel and many other shopping and beach areas on the main U.S 41 road.
