Capt Hiram's Resort

Absolutely amazing! From the time I called to book the room until check out everyone was absolutely amazing! When we arrived we were immediately greeted by Kelsey and Nerissia and they were both so very professional and kind even making note to acknowledge my birthday with a gift from the resort. During our stay Maison took care of us at The Sandbar Beach Club aka Tiki Bar as did Tyler. Absolutely amazing service and delicious food! Conch fritters, shrimp tacos and onion rings are a must!! The room was immaculate and very well kept, beds were super comfortable and the view from 501 was amazing...with a visit from dolphins each morning! There was an ice machine at the Rum Cay building we stayed in so that was very nice and convenient. There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room with coffee supplies, a small refrigerator and a microwave as well as a sink to rinse items if needed. (They also have complimentary coffee in the lobby along with a small store for snacks). We utilized the marina where Dave was extremely helpful in ensuring our boat was secured each night. There is also an option for power (bring a cord) as well as water hookups (bring a hose) to rinse the boat down each evening along with complimentary carts to bring items from your vehicle to the boat. Although the marina is not under 24-hour security it is a very secure area and very well taken care of/watched over by both staff and cameras. The Boatique is a definite stop for some souvenirs as they had cool t-shirts, visors, koozies and many other things! Susie was very helpful in providing information regarding the marina as well as items in the store. Plenty of parking for cars as well as an area for trucks and trailers to bring your boat! It's about a 10-minute ride once you get into the channel to The Sandbar right by Sebastian inlet!

Great place to get away in beautiful Sebastian. This place provides most everything you’d need. The food and beverage are priced right and the entertainment is available usually twice a day. The staff was GREAT. We’ve stayed here many times and it’s always a pleasure.

Fun, low key hotel where the staff are all friendly and hospitable. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony to have our morning coffee or our cocktails in the evening. The grounds were well maintained and the hotel has a parking lot. It was a 2 minute walk to the hotel restaurant and beach club. We especially loved the entertainment at the beach club in the evenings. The food at the restaurant was also pretty good. We were visiting relatives on this trip so we weren’t able to enjoy the hotel amenities like the pool, kayak and bicycles. We will definitely stay here again the on our next visit. Highly recommend!!
