HAMPTON INN - SUITES ALPHARETT

Older hotel. But sure what it was before but not your typical Hampton Inn. Clean. Comfortable. But no USB ports in rooms. In this day and age that is unheard of. Cold day and night, and the common areas of the hotel were freezing. Not sure if they had HVAC issues or just didn’t turn the heat on. Convenient location but desperately needs an update

Everything was great. Breakfast, staff, hotel maintenance was very good and efficient. We were also really pleased by how close to lovely walking paths it was too.

This hotel was not up to the Hilton standards I usually see. My room was apparently not cleaned before me as there was a large piece of pizza crust in the microwave that I didn’t know was there when trying to use the microwave. It didn’t take very long before I smelled smoke and investigated. By the look of that crust, I was not the first to use the microwave after it found it’s home there. I was also blessed with a water bottle in my closet that looked like it was filled with urine. No I did not open it to sniff. Very gross and very disappointing. Besides that, there was plenty of visible dirt on the floors. I can only hope that the sheets and towels had been cleaned. I will not stay here again.
