Quality Inn

U have to pay for breakfast & they do NOT return deposit! False advertisement, breakfast included! Toilets nasty, rings from not cleaning! Scared to use bathroom

My husband and I booked a room to escape a hurricane in October of 2024. When we left to come home, I realized I'd left behind a very special pair of boots. I immediately called and Maya went up to our room, found them and let me know they would be at the front desk until she figured out how to get them home to me, 6 hrs away. I offered to send a prepaid box but she said she had to check with Sam the owner(or)manager. Fast forward minimum 6 calls/texts to him (finding out that Maya (allegedly took them, and was let go) and a "let me look into it" EVERY TIME. I have decided that getting my boots that my husband bought me or reimbursed the almost 250, (I actually sent him cheaper options then the Harley boots I had, that were similar but not as expensive, trying to be fair) and as of today January 2, 2026 I am STILL getting the brush off. I will NEVER EVER stay there again, (I forgot to mention when I got into bed the 1st night the cover sheet had a HUGE hole down where my foot went right thru it) I realize it was my fault for leaving them but once they took responsibility for them (Sam even responded to my original post on here, saying he was out of town and would handle it upon his return) they should have taken care of getting them back to me. Now I know they are crooks and I won't go there again

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The room is in need of painting. The bathroom has black mold everywhere! The mirrors had something running down them and then not cleaned. The breakfast food was cold. The entire hotel needs a DEEP clean and paint.
