Best Western Plus Hotel & Suites Airport South

Near to ATL Airport (International Terminal) and frequent shuttle services available. Very neatly maintained property and a great Bar Chef with DJ hosting the Happy Hour. Brittaney from front desk was very welcoming and helpful.

Do NOT stay here! The firm alarms went off three times during the night (1:30am, 3:00am, 7:55am). It was a KNOWN issue that they hadn’t fixed and did not warn us about ahead of time, so we had to go downstairs at 1:30 in the morning after flying in from Europe. We asked for a free breakfast as compensation. They said no. Offered points but never did credit them to my account. We did eat breakfast there anyway, but the food service was just abyssal. Out of several of the complementary items like toothbrushes. The room was nice and large and the bed was comfortable, but they were not worth dealing with the horrible service. Go somewhere else.

The hotel overall served my purpose. As a frequent visitor of Marriott properties, I was annoyed at the fact that I could not get an earlier check-in without a fee. I’ve traveled around the world with Marriott and never had to a fee from check-in be it at a JWM, St Regis or Marriott. My son landed and 9:00AM and was not able to check in until 4:30…REALLY?! If I wasn’t so busy I would have went there and raised hell because he saw people being checked in who arrived after he did! Not sure I would stay or suggest anyone to stay at this property again.
