Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bremen

We stayed here last minute on a road trip to Dahlonega. Most recent reviews were okay so we chose this. Staff were friendly, but only one staff person at night with about 7 people checking in. Lady was so nice and trying her hardest to get the line moving. The hotel rooms weren’t as clean as I would have hoped, but the lobby area appeared clean. The noise…AWFUL! People were talking down the hall past 11:00pm—not sure if they had door open or not, but I wasn’t walking down in my PJs and didn’t want to bother the over worked attendant. My 4 year old had trouble falling and staying asleep. At barely 7am, there was a staff member was apparently training someone and you could hear them talking with just regular voices. Pass on this hotel if you stay in Bremen.

The friendly staff is why I gave this two stars. Only one person to check in numerous people waiting to be checked in but the lady was very nice. Extremely noisy rooms, reasonably clean rooms and sub-par breakfast selection. We chose to go to Waffle House. I have been in a lot better Holiday Inn properties. The Cracker Barrel and Waffle House may be the only redeeming qualities of Bremen

My parents had a flood in their home and had to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks and the staff here were wonderful! They were constantly asking if there was anything we needed or anything they could do for us (my parents have limited mobility due to a stroke and a fall). The rooms are very nice, the pool was clean, the laundry facilities were cleaned daily, the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen! I have to say though the friendly staff was what made this experience much easier for us all. Highly recommend!!
