What a wonderful weekend escape this Hampton Inn property in Columbus turned out to be. Was greeted by Brandy as a Hilton Diamond Member upon check-in at 4 PM. However, my King Studio room I had picked out via the Digital Key was not yet ready. She quickly made sure an excellent alternative room was available to me, as well as offered delicious fresh-baked chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies. The room was clean, spacious, super quiet, and very comfortable. The air conditioning felt incredible on this very hot July weekend. Slept magnificently. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Appreciated the kindness of Ardel in getting anything I needed, and enjoyed talking with him. Many of the guests here are soldiers, and I made sure to thank them for their service. And, don't miss the incredible National Infantry Museum right next door. It's a relaxing walk down to it and even has quite a few fantastic statues and artifacts which are accessible outside of museum hours. Recommend this property highly!

We had a wonderful experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus South Fort Benning. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating — they truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and the breakfast was great each morning. If you’re visiting for your soldier’s graduation from Fort Benning, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s close to the base, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff understands what a special time this is for families. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the area — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
