The Hilton Garden Inn Columbus Georgia Hotel

This was an absolutely fine hotel stay. This just wasn’t quite up to the standard we expect when staying at a HGI. There was a fairly substantial piece of tile missing against the shower. My husband remarked “that looks like something I did,” because he often doesn’t finish the details like that when doing household projects. The faucet to the bathroom sink also seemed to be misplaced. It was so far back, it was difficult to get your hands under the water when washing them. Overall, the room was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and there were lots of nice little drawers, cubbies, and convenient places to store things out of the way. I would stay here again, I just can’t give it the four to five stars.

One and Done. We come to Columbus about 6 times a year for 2 nights to see aging family. We've never stayed here, but everything else was full. Now we know why. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the linens fresh. The hotel was also quiet (probably because it was barely filled..) Hilton's on line check in- phone key- and room selection was too complex and generally didn't work- and we were directed to the front desk anyway. Not working was true for the TV to, which we never mastered- even with chat room help. Having traveled to 17 countries we have never had this kind of trouble getting local TV, or finding a free show to watch. VERY Frustrating. The room was generally dark, but the Bathroom was way too dark- with not enough light IN THE MIRROR for basic use. One of the lamps in Room 221 has a rotten base- really nasty. The refrigerator was barely cool, and the wall thermostat is not connected to the A/C heat unit. One wonders why it's even there. The bathroom lacks any venting, and after a shower only clears with the door open- not so good trying to keep the room dark with someone still asleep. We had planned to use the lobby office space, an printer but this too was not available. So- we checked out early, and did find a nice place to stay with a real- normal- working TV and a cold refrigerator. We tried, but you won't see us again. billooltewah

We stayed here for the weekend and were so pleased! Love the location being tucked away from all the busy city traffic. It overlooks a beautiful pond which made the scenery so nice when having a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Everyone was so nice and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. From the sweet girl at the front desk, the funny bartender that made our yummy drinks, to the sweet housekeeping ladies that made sure we had all the essentials we needed for our room, it was all amazing. We will definitely be staying here again when traveling back to Columbus! 10/10 Recommend!
