Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place

This place needs all kinda attention. From customer service to false advertising to noisy place to be at. I attempted to check in at 2 pm and there was no one at the reception desk. I walked around but could not find any staff. After 5 mins waiting the front desk clerk Daisy shows up, no greeting, no apology and just stood there. I said i was checking in and she demanded extra $50. She said it was for early check in. She did not mention that their check in is at 4 pm which is so weird. You check guests out at 11 am but no one can check in until 4 pm. Upon asking She told me check in was 4 pm. I decided to go for lunch break and come back. Upon returning an older African American lady wearing glasses and very short gray hair took my ID and credit card to check me in. The phone rang and she took the phone call, leaving me hanging. There was another guy at next computer who was free. He could have answered the phone. This lady answers phone and said she gotta go, gave my ID to the dude next to her to check me in. He checked me in saying breakfast is in the morning and costs $15. But on their website it says breakfast is included. Meantime lady with gray hair comes back and took her seat so apparently she didn't have anything important to walk off to. The room has artificial wooden floors and no carpet so you have to have shoes on. The toilet is away from the sink, in a corner alone. The elevator has very noisy bell for floors indication. There are children running around screaming with loud noise. There is a Marriott right across the street which would be much better option. This property is badly managed.

Front desk staff is the worst they did absolutely nothing to resolve the hot water issue. Its like they know and dont care especially the manager, rooms have mold and mildew smell and just like the reviews says hot water doesn’t work. Plz take heed and steer far away from this dump they are very aware of the issues they just dont care about actually customers experience

The front desk agents are very professional! I was checking in i requested rooms on the 14 floor. Elisha assured me that the lower floors are the best floors at the moment due to construction noises and in the near future i can be back on the floor I prefer. Which was very helpful when planning future stays. Loved my stay and bar food was great
