Ramada Limited - Savannah Airport

We stayed here overnight as a stopping point on our drive to Florida. Unfortunately, the property did not feel clean. The hallways appeared to need a thorough power washing, and our motel room looked and felt unclean. I was uncomfortable sleeping under the bed sheets because they did not appear fresh or clean. Overall, the experience left us feeling that the property was not well maintained, and it felt very unsanitary.

I actually had two experiences with this motel. The first time I came to the hotel I had to wait for the receptionist and her friend to finish their conversation which went on to the point where it's unprofessional. I am not the one to pick at every situation cuz I understand that people are human but it was rude. Then the next morning I wake up to get coffee and instead I was greeted to a table full of about six workers and female maids and they were talking about very unprofessional conversations and there was no coffee. I was told that there wasn't any coffee and they were looking for coffee. They didn't even clean up. If there's no coffee okay I can understand that, but at least clean up the pots and station. Even after the first experience I still try to give them a second try because it was down the street from a a. Go-kart track that my husband and I wanted to go to cuz we were from out of town. I made the reservation online. I go in to confer my reservation and I was told that they were all booked and that all the rooms were dirty and they would not be checking it until after 3:00. But even after 3:00 I will still have to wait because everything had to be clean. So basically they were saying there were no rooms. Mind you like always the conversations that they have and always complaining. I walked in a conversation of them saying how their boss was upset because he was not feeling up on rooms. So my guess is they were basically just turning people away. So to the owner of this motel you are not booking rooms because your staff is turning them away. I'm not the one to see someone without a job, but you all need to tighten up because you're a very unprofessional. And if there's no customers, you all don't have a job. So don't take advantage of the negative take advantage of the positive

I am a single woman traveling alone and I felt perfectly safe. If you are looking for fancy, this is not your place. If you are looking for a convenient location with a clean room, you can't beat this for the price. It is located literally steps away from I-95. There is a Waffle House in the parking lot and several restaurants within a 1-3 mile distance from the motel. Also, across the street is a grocery store. Highway 80 takes you into downtown Savannah if you don't want to get back on the freeway. The room was very clean and had been updated. Nice bedding, newly tiled bathroom and sink area. I would stay here again without a doubt. There is no breakfast and the parking lot could use some cleaning up but other than that, it was great.
