The linen was clean rooms were small but we were just there for the evacuation of the hurricane. We had a place booked but they gave it to a homeless person who's been sleeping there for a week after I drove 200 plus miles the staff here was very very accommodating they made sure that my family and I were not going to be stranded in sleeping in our cars they did whatever they had to to get us shelter.

WARNING! Do not say at this so called Hotel. They are scammers. They ask for a cash deposit and they charge your card as well and then when you check out they miraculously don't remember you giving cash. And they charge you an additional fee to use a Debit Card. So basically they steal it from you. The rooms are trashed so how do they know if you did the damage is beyond the realm of logic. When you check out they will blame you for previous damage so they can keep the Deposit Money. The AC was filthy and I actually cleaned the filters myself. The Bathroom had severe water damage and the room smelled of mold and mildew. There was no cable and no remote. I had to request a microwave. The Police were there on the regular one criminal firing of a pistol in the Parking lot. The Pool is closed and full of stagnant water. Basically the Health Dept. should shut this place down.

I booked a room online for my elderly father who was traveling home. The website showed a total price of $81.75 to be paid at arrival. I called to ask if I could pay remotely, and was told no - that was not an option. I had sent an email to their corporate office with the same request before calling, and they responded with a link to pay online. By this point, I had already sent my father the money through the bank, so he could pay on-site. He arrived at the hotel shortly before dark. The clerk told him the credit card machine was down, and he would need to pay $180 cash to stay there, and $50 would be returned when he checked out. This is much different than the $81.75 we agreed upon. He did not have $180 cash, and had to leave. I contacted the hotel to cancel my reservation, and explained what happened. They declined, and my card was charged 1 night's rate - which was $81.75. I feel this was a scam by the employee (why else would it be cash only?), and they targeted my senior citizen father, ultimately leaving him without a place to stay after driving all day. I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and contacting the BBB. This has become a huge headache, and I urge anyone to avoid this place.
