Vista Inn & Suites - Warner Robins, GA

I booked a room online, asked for a senior citizen discount and that should have tipped the owner off that we were over the hill. When we arrived I was checked into room 208. I got the luggage rack, went out and loaded up our luggage, came back in and asked where the elevator was located. There is none! I complained and was told there were no rooms available on the first floor, which I doubt. I parked the luggage rack at the foot of the stairs and made three trips up to the room. I am 84. My wife is not in good health. We went across the street for dinner, using the side door. When we returned our card would not work in the door so we had to walk around the hotel to get in the front. Next morning we came down for breakfast and it was slim pickings. I complained at the desk and the owner reluctantly discounted my rate $10. Upon leaving, there was no luggage cart, so I pulled my vehicle up onto the grass and propped open the side door with a garbage can so I could load my luggage. I prefer Best Western when we travel, but this place sucked! On the positive side, the room was clean.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff was accommodating. The daily housekeeping service was a great convenience. Although I was initially given an exterior room due to the hotel's total capacity, the staff did their best to accommodate my needs. The only downside was the outdated laundry facility, which only accepted quarters and needed to be in better condition. The hotel should consider updating the laundry facility to provide a more convenient experience for guests.

First time staying here and would definitely stay again. Very clean, helpful staff, comfortable beds. Only issue was the breakfast. Don't plan on eating it unless they do something better. I would have given them an excellent rating if it weren't for the breakfast.
