This Inn has wonderful potential . . . great location - quiet neighborhood near the University, close to freeway. The managers of the inn are doing their best and are sincere about their job and caring for each guest. However, the pictures are very deceiving . . . the inn is very old as it should be as it is an historical property. But, it needs quite a few updates to be anywhere near the photos presented! There is even a letter stating that when you arrive in your room. I will admit, the beds are comfortable and TV works fine. Breakfast was just adequate as they could do a lot more with selection, presentation and preparation. Some fresh Hawaiian fruit should be offered at the very least.

If you need everything to be pristine & new do t go here …BUT… if you love historic architecture with all the quirky charm and character that old buildings bring, you may well fall in love with Manoa Valley Inn. It is being restored and the room pictures and names don’t necessarily match up but it is a work in progress! The staff were so kind and helpful and we cannot wait to go back. Next time I want to stay longer! I absolutely LOVED my time here!

I enjoyed this hidden gem located just two miles away from busy tourist packed Waikiki. The house is a real Victorian mansion and my room was very cute. Lisa, the owner, is very friendly, welcoming and caring. Highly recommend for those seeking an authentic experience, quietness and romantic.
