Royal Mauian - Maui Condo & Home

We stayed in Unit 206 and I do not recommend anyone else stay here due to a roach infestation in the kitchen. That was just the worst issue, we also had no ice trays or working ice maker, the AC kept cutting off, and as others have mentioned the carpet in the bedrooms is old and sticky. It’s not worth saving a few hundred dollars to stay in this sub-par condo at Royal Mauian.

PROS - Nice grounds Pleasant for sunning & whale watching Very easy walks to 2 nice beaches Very nice bay view from the lanai Comfortable beds Well equipped kitchen Roof top tables & multiple clean grills Shopping & restaurants are just across the street Elevator is always timely Check in/out very easy Cons - Grounds are nice, but not immaculate care Parking is for one vehicle AC provides barely enough cooling & is in only one bedroom There are minor sounds from units above when furniture is sliding After many fees/taxes $850/night!

Have stayed in many condos. Royal Mauian 517 is a lovely well decorated facing the ocean. Would highly recommend it.
