Kona Hawaiian Resort

I would highly recommend this resort to anyone that wants to come to Kona. Walking distance to downtown if you go to the large pier you got about a 3 1/2 mile round-trip. Stunning scenery and beautiful beaches. Absolutely the place to come and stay to simply chill out.

My wife and I enjoyed an exceptional vacation experience at Club Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort. It’s ground are absolutely beautiful, actually stunningly beautiful, our room was updated and possibly the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in ( we only trade into Gold Crown resorts), the resort’s location to historic, downtown Kailua Kona is exceptional, and the resort’s staff members went out of their ways to provide us with a memorable vacation experience.

Overall had a really great stay at the Club Wyndham Kona. The grounds were beautifully maintained and all the resort staff we interacted with were helpful and professional - very quick to respond to any requests and always friendly. No pressure when we said no to the timeshare pitch. We were on a lower level unit near the front of the resort by the smaller pool. There were people upstairs but noise was never an issue. We had a leak under the kitchen sink upon arrival and maintenance came and fixed it right away. They have a text number you can use for requests and ask questions. We loved the pool and that it was open 8am-10pm. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. We didn't have an amazing view (lanai just faced the pool area) but it was fine as we weren't in the room that much other than to sleep. Never had an issue finding parking and the location was great just a few minutes south of the main downtown Kona area but nice and quiet.
