La Quinta Inn Suites Coeur Dalene East

I booked on hotels.com but cant leave a review for some reason. I knew this hotel had issues with cleanliness, but read some recent reviews on hotels and seemed better. NOT! Its a good area, lots of parking, lots of potential here. SO..... I think our room was lived in. There was pop splattered all over cupboards and roof/light. Cupboards had dust on top of doors. The dishwasher had someones dishes in there. The mini fridge was full of sticky stuff (my note stuck to it so they could see) The carpet and couch were science experiments!! Husband put towel down to sit on couch, it had white stuff on side( I just cant imagine what that was!) and filthy. The floor boards all around whole room were beyond dirty and dusty. I used wet toilet paper to wipe brown smear off trim by door handle inside bathroom. +positive, bed sheets and towels seemed clean. My suggestion.... one or two rooms a day, hire someone to do a deep clean and bonus remove the carpet. One quick night and we were out of there. Oh also put in notes we wanted rooms close by cause i booked 2 rooms as our friends with us. Nope! We were on main, they were up a floor. In 11 days of hotel-ing , this was only hotel that didn't accommodate. +Nice elderly hard of hearing gentleman at front desk. There in morning too.

DISGUSTING It seemed like i was in a bad movie. The carpet in the room was sticky! The room smelled. The AC was loud and kept us up all night. I slept on top of the bed and did not get in the covers. I was afraid!

We knew this wasn't going to be a 5 start hotel but it was a bit worse than expected, especially for the price. Dirty hotel rooms and bathrooms. We found leftover takeout boxes in the refrigerator and dirty handprints on the ceiling. Carpet and bedsheets had various stains and showers had hairs littered throughout. Still paid almost $200 for the night.
