Clarion Inn of Sun Valley

Bathroom door latch did not close door. Round door nobs not ADA compliant and difficult to use for arthritic hands. Hard to believe that lever door handles are not standard on all doors at a Hotel in this day and age. No dedicated USB charging outlets in room. Really??? Sticky residue on floor just inside of entrance door. Bath towels felt like drying-off with 60 grit sandpaper. Lighting over nightstand/bed WAY to bright, and very awkward to have to reach up so far from bed to turn on/off. Balcony nice enough, but slider door had a lock that did not engage easily. One could think door was locked when in reality the latch mechanism never engaged to secure the door locked. Included breakfast.... well, the coffee was good enough. We are not Hotel snobs. Our first time staying in Ketchum. Considering the cost of our three night stay though, our experience did not meet expectations. Very average accommodations at best.

We spontaneously booked a night in the middle of a week of backpacking/tent camping, and it was wonderful. Very comfortable beds, quiet, yummy breakfast, and fun perks like chocolate chip cookies and s'mores kits! The cozy hangout are inside and beautiful (flowers) outside area were pleasant. Our daughter appreciated getting to do some laundry, too! :)

This hotel is wonderfully quirky, super clean and in the perfect location to walk around town. Would definitely stay here again some day.
