DECEPTIVE EXTERIOR. The exterior is what made us stop after a spur of the moment road trip. The front desk staff was very helpful.BUT, when we went into our room, there was a hand truck in front of the door the door was open. And 2 construction workers were staring at us and it was 7:10 PM. As I walked in the door there was mud and drywall.Dust and chunks of broken drywall, all the way from the door to the back of the room. We were reassigned a room away from the construction. But when it was time to sit back and relax, the television did not work. It turns out there is only 3 channels on an antenna. Yeah, when I turned on the television, it showed dish satellite t v. When I sought assistance from the front desk, they did not answer the phone so I had to make a second trip to the front desk. WARNING!!! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Very disappointed with our stay at Inn America in Lewiston. We booked a king room, but when we walked in, the bed had clearly already been slept in and there were dirty towels on the floor. The room had obviously not been cleaned before we arrived. We went to the front desk, and instead of giving us the room type we paid for, we were moved to a double room. The beds were uncomfortable, the room was noisy and still did not feel very clean. To make matters worse, the front desk staff said they could not refund the difference between the king and double room, and acted annoyed about having to clean another room in the first place. We were only passing through for the night, but this experience was enough for us to decide we will not stay at another Inn America again.

The location is great. Staff was nice. That’s about all the good things I have to say. The room was dirty, maybe nothing but the bed linens were cleaned before I checked in. Hairs in the shower and on the air conditioning unit, the inside of the fridge had old crumbs, the floor had crumbs and dirt, the toilet needed scrubbed. And there were only EIGHT channels on the TV. What year is this?! The one tiny barely stocked vending machine was only offset by the close proximity to restaurants. MOD Pizza is right below the hotel, McDonald’s is across the street, grocery store is a few lights up the street. Believe the reviews about this place being gross. I didn’t try any breakfast because with a room that dirty I didn’t trust whoever was doing food.
