🚨 DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT RECOMMEND. 🚨 This hotel seriously needs a deep cleaning and a major inspection. It honestly looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in YEARS. There were stains everywhere — even on the lamp cover, coffee pot, mirrors, and bedding. The entire room smelled strongly like smoke, and the smell was embedded in the carpet. The TV didn’t work, there were dead bugs on the floor, and the overall condition of the room was absolutely disgusting. I was so uncomfortable that I didn’t even shower. I refused to get under the sheets because of the stains. At this point, I would’ve been more comfortable sleeping in my car than staying in this room. 🤮🤮 Management needs to seriously address the cleanliness and condition of this property. This place needs a thorough inspection. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The best hotel in Cairo, and the worst too since there is only one hotel here. My adivce is to drive somewhere else--this place is beyond worn-down. The room looked like the decor, including bedding, was from the 1980s. The smoke detector in-room was broken, and would go off if the shower was too hot. The fire alarm in the hallway had been pulled out of the wall and was dangling by wires. The pool was a grimy, cracked mess. It's located off the interstate, but in the middle of fields with crumbling buildings. It is like something from a B-grade horror movie. The place should be bulldozed and rebuilt from the ground up.

Each time we come to Mounds always stayed to this hotel very nice people and good breakfast they served clean i recommend this hotel to everyone very Friendly stuff resonable price easy to accessed just need renovation But again there very nice
