EMBASSY SUITES CHICAGO - NORTH

Very clean hotel. Great breakfast with many options. Managers reception was lacking compared to other Embassy Suites. Cheese, crackers and hummus. Could do better with manager's reception

The rooms were ok, carpet was stained with some areas that were coming up and frayed, also needing to be restretched due to ripples in it. Bathroom plumbing was questionable, faucet dripped all night, toilet barely flushed. Front desk staff were friendly but if we called for coffee cups or pillows they couldn't help you. There is NO coffee available in the lobby 24/7, only available during free breakfast. Pool was so chlorinated your eyes burn. Also there are only ladders to get in, no stairs. Laundry room was disgusting and machine was leaking soap, not usable.

Clean. Offered an evening drink, and breakfast in the morning.
