Marriott Chicago Suites Downers Grove

I've stayed here several times. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here when an elevator has been broken. This is a large hotel with only 2 elevators. When one of the elevators breaks, then a large hotel full of people is using one elevator. That means waiting 15 minutes for an elevator and when it finally comes, it's jam-packed full of people. I thought the first time the elevator broke was just a fluke, but now I'm here on a different trip, and there's a broken elevator. I'm finishing with this hotel and will never stay here again.

We recently hosted a business conference at the Hampton Inn/Homewood Suites in Downers Grove and were thoroughly impressed. The meeting spaces were bright, well‑organized, and fully equipped with everything our team needed. Breaks were well‑catered, and the staff kept the entire event running smoothly and on schedule. Our employees also shared great feedback about their rooms, noting they were clean, cozy, and quiet—perfect for unwinding after long sessions. We look forward to returning to this outstanding venue for future business events.

Quiet and cozy. When I saw the front desk staff were not owners, I KNEW everything would be clean, or taken care of promptly. I have not one complaint. Comfy beds, clean and peaceful hotel. Noted this one as a favorite.
