The Stoney Creek is an absolute gem! My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff is incredibly helpful, kind, patient and it truly feels like a family working together. The hotel is very clean, which is always the most important thing for me when I stay somewhere and it was absolutely spotless. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and comfortable stay in Galena. We will absolutely be back!

Food availability at front desk was excellent! Breakfast was average. No closets. Low toilet. High bathtub. Charges $25 for late checkout. Pet charge not notified.

What a wonderful hotel! My spouse and I had a horrible traveling day and when I arrived, Teresa at the front desk, advised my reservation was for 2027. Not good. But she calmly reassured me it was going to be fine she would find us a room. She was phenomenal and after the day we had I finally could relax. Rooms are clean, and well appointed. Shower was wonderful and had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was great, pancakes! The attendant was friendly and everything was well stocked even though it was busy! I will stay here again (and again and again).
