Americas Best Value Inn Geneseo

This is a basic hotel, but it is always clean and the front desk is helpful.They have lately made some upgrades that have improved the overall appearance. There is a package store next door and a great pizza place across the street. We have appreciated our stays here.

Spent several nights in this hotel. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable . Bathtub was lacking anti slip bottom. Almost slipped and fell. Pool out of service . Breakfast very , very limited. No toast, no tea (but hot water) , no bagels , only small refrigerator with little snacks . Lobby clean but unoccupied. No brochures or newspapers . Very basic hotel .

This hotel received 8.4 rating on Hotels.com. I wouldn't give it a 4.8! Had two dogs with us and immediately one of the dogs was sniffing around. Found a pair of women's underwear, food underneath end tables, ketchup stuck on side rail of bed. Towels were stained. Our mistake was staying in the room. Owner did not offer any reimbursement, not even for our dog who did clean up. STAY AWAY!!
