Holiday Inn Mount Vernon

Was there from May 2 thru 22-2026. It’s been a week after checking out and still haven’t received my $100 accidental fee. Check Your accounts after checking out. I usually receive my accidental fee back within 1-3 days in other hotels.

This place is horrible and deserves a negative review. I have never ever written a review in my entire life, but I feel pulled to encourage people to stay literally anywhere else in the area. The manager is absolutely horrible to deal with. She yelled at us and refused to return money SHE OVERCHARGED US. Then got the police involved, and suddenly, when we showed them our bank account statements... she was able to refund it accurately. Interesting how she was able to do that with police around but not around us when we tried to remedy the situation ourselves. Stay somewhere else. The rooms aren't great either. You're not missing anything.

The manager is white and was cursing and bullying my black children because they asked for more towels and sheets which any hotel would allow more towels and sheets. When me as the black parent to the children went to ask what the problem was she immediately cursed me out and was rude to me as well. She ended up calling the police on me and slamming phones down and ultimately banning me for asking for extra towels and sheets. If you’re not white please don’t go to this hotel because they will not treat you good.
