DAYS INN RANTOUL

I was visiting University of Illinois for Father's weekend with my daughter and everything was sold out. I had stayed the past few years at the Super 8 across the street and it was simple but clean and kept up. Only a 10 minute drive down the highway from Champaign. This year the only thing open was the Knights Inn and I assumed it was probably about the same. WRONG. This facility was so run down, no signs of any upkeep for decades. Truly a scary place. There was a sign on the front door indicating the place was not safe for habitation. The front desk informed me it was only referring to the pool area that was under construction. Avoid it at all cost.

The motel has free parking. My check in went slowly. The room was adequate and I got a good night's sleep. I received the wake up call I requested. When I went to check out, there was no one at the front desk.

I had a great night the reviews weren't so great so i have to admit i was a little scared but i got into the jacuzzi and it was clean and i soaked until 3am i got out showered and i went to bed in the most comfy bed ever, no bugs, no bites just nice clean relaxation. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and it was good. The only thing i rented the room a little late the gentlemen could've went down on the price overall great stay would do it again anytime
