Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Chicago River North

Experienced a wonderful weekend with my wife at the Residence Inn! Check in on 20th floor is a fantastic welcome mat of what is to come! The rooms seem very new with all the amenities. Spacious bathroom & shower, comfy bed, large flat screen. Location is prime just north of the craziness of River North & a couple block walk to the lake. Walk under LSD & you are at Olive Park & Ohio St beach for a swim or go for a run on the pathway to Oak St Beach! Staff was very pleasant & helpful. Parking across the street. Rooftop bar & restaurant were wonderful too!

My family had a great stay! The staff was very friendly, especially Holly who went above and beyond to help me find gluten free options during breakfast. Thank you Holly!

Stayed 3 nights over the holiday weekend. Front desk service was excellent and the location is close to many great restaurants and attractions. Breakfast included in price of room - another positive. Rooms are a little bit tired but functionally solid. Rooms don’t include hair dryers. We had an issue with the tv in our room and as much as we tried to troubleshoot it, it didn’t work. They had the engineer come in while we were gone to fix it….it was partially fixed…video was working but audio did not. Overall, it’s worth staying here for the service and location.
