Regency Inn South Holland

Stay away from this motel, cockroaches' bites, bloody stain on the pillow, dirty spots on bedsheet, missing lightbulb, and most disturbing were their manager Mr. Khan who does not care about customer service. On July 21, after checking into the Travelodge in South Holland, MI, we went to sleep but were awakened around 3:00 a.m. due to insects biting us. Using a flashlight, we discovered two large cockroaches—one near the bed and another by the bathroom door. We also found blood stains on the pillows, dirty spots on the bed sheets, and noticed that the bedside lamp was missing a light bulb. At 4:10 a.m., I called the hotel’s customer care line. I took seven photos documenting all issues and later showed them to the local manager. I spoke with David DF and shared photos, made a complain and he didnot care, then I called customer care line and wrote emails and Mr. Khan said only give 2000 reward point, and who cares point, ruin one night rest, got bitting, and want to have get refund, and he is no longer to reply any email, ignored you.

Room was in bad shape and smelled like cigarettes despite being a non smoking room. Shower was damaged and shouldn't be used. Towels and sheets were clean at least.

It's alright for it's price. The staff was ok. The only thing I didn't like was them not changing blankets til you check out
