Crossland Chicago - Waukegan

Me and my family came to Chicago for boot camp graduation and we had booked this hotel because it was cheap and nearby but it was a horrible mistake. We booked a room for a whole week and when we entered the room, it smelled horrible and off putting, there was stains on the sheets and the bathroom floors and walls as well. The door to the bathroom didn’t even lock and the outside handle of the bathroom was loose and barely can open the door. Sleeping here was genuinely a horrendous experience. And when we went to cancel our reservation at the front office, the guy there told us that he’s gonna check with his GM and said it would take about 30 minutes. And so when 30 minutes go bye, we go back to the front office and the guy didn’t even answer the door and started to avoid us. Please for whatever reason do not stay here, you will regret it to a maximum.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! RUN THE OPPOSITE WAY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! Multiple rooms were booked under my workplace for the week and they were all completely FILTHY. Not just the rooms, but the outside was overrun with old and broken furniture. STAINS ON SHEETS AND ROACHES IN THE LINENS

This place should be condemned. The place was filthy, I complained about the dirty floors and he came in and did a fast sweep. I went and bought my own pillow and sheets because I did not trust that the ones on the very uncomfortable bed were clean. The refrigerator freezer was filled with frost and in the middle of the night it started this awful noise that woke me up. The grounds are not kept up and the garbage bin in the back is overflowing with junk and the gate doesn't, Cant say anything nice about this place it was a last minute online decision because I was at a function at the navy base. SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS. DO NOT STAY THERE. Red Roof in should be ashamed for being connected to this establishment.
