Clarion Hotel Conference Center Louisville North Clarksville

I was approved for an upgrade to a suite but when we got there, we were told they did not have any suites clean and could only give us a standard room. Despite the website and the front lobby looked amazing, the room was not. When we got to the room, it was dirty. There was sticky stuff on the night stands, dirt on the floor in the bathroom and bugs/cobwebs in the corners and ceiling of the room. There were bug droppings on the ceiling in the bathroom and the faucet in the bathtub would not stop running. Along with that the tub wouldn’t drain when you took a shower and if you tried to take a bath, it wouldn’t hold water. The bed was sooo uncomfortable to the point, we were booked to stay 3 nights but after the second night and we had went to my specialist's appointment, we decided to drive home late the second night. Then we received to random charges after our room was paid for the night we checked in. When we checked out early, we were told we would receive a credit. Still haven’t seen the credit or the credit for the original charges. I was there for a doctor’s appointment that was so important to figure out what is wrong with me.

It took us 45 minutes to get into our room after we checked in. After walking past the loud night club to get to the hotel room, our key card didn't work. We called the front desk, they said someone would come up. After waiting for 10 minutes, we went back to the front desk. Jenny rekeyed the cards then told us that if it touches our cell phone it would deactivate the key. That would be nice to know. We get back to the room. The green light came on, but the door wouldn't open, so I called the front desk again and Jenny told us to pull the handle UP. That also would have been nice to know. The channel and the volume buttons are reversed on the TV remote. The bathtub is too small. The bed is not level, kept feeling like I was going to fall out of it. Still heard the night club in our 3rd floor room.

Great place to stay. Large rooms, clean, great restaurant and bar onsite. It has very reasonable nightly charges.
