Not a safe hotel for a single woman. Okay first thing I want to say about this hotel is that the rooms are clean, beds are nice, and staff is cordial. However there are many overriding safety issues that make this a two-star hotel. The first is that they don't lock the doors to the hotel so anyone can enter. I arrived back to the hotel after dark and the back door did not require a key card. When I got back to my room the door was partially open. Then they didn't want to pay for a full blackout curtains so they set up the curtains so that there is a flimsy piece of cause and then two decorative blackout curtains on the side that you can't pull together because they are just for looks and are tiny. The problem with this is any of the transient worker guests can see you very easily in your room from the parking lot. And then you can't sleep because the bright lights of the interstate and the industrial parking lots next door are just blasting into your room. But moreover this is right next to I-25 which is a huge drug and human trafficking corridor. They should be making it more safe, not cutting corners. Additionally the carpets outside of the rooms are filthy with stains and covered with just gross pieces of garbage like they have not been cleaned forever. I've never written something like this about a hotel before, but I truly felt unsafe.

Comfortable but disappointing! I specifically picked this hotel for the hot tub. When checking in the front desk clerk said it was open until 11:00pm so I naturally assumed we could use the hot tub! I checked in and unpacked. Went to the pool and there was a sign saying “pool not open” I asked the front desk clerk and she said “oh the hot tub must not be working”. Yea would have been nice to know before checking. In and unpacking!

Check in service was terrible the lady was really not professional at all. She was outside with the family and I was inside waiting for her to pop up. She was with a bitter face and bad energy.
