SUPER 8 JASPER

We had been driving all night on our way back from our Florida vacation and tried to find the most decent looking motel we could, from the pictures of this place it looks really clean and nice, wasn’t very expensive which was when I was questionable on it, and when we walked in the room it smelled very heavily of mold, there was mold seeped into the carpet floors? Not okay. And come to find out I look at the ceiling and the entire ceiling was covered in black mold, the shower mat had mold on it, I didn’t even want to shower. When I finally got down for bed my sheets, pillow cases and blanket were still damp and not all the way dried. To say the least I am disappointed. We had my grandmothers service dog who has a vest and is a literal dog on duty and the lady asked about her multiple times and was rude about it. When we went to turn our key in and check out, we informed her that the entire room smelt horribly and was covered in black mold head to toe. The lady then wrote it down and said “I’ll get that fixed” and didn’t apologize for the inconvenience, offer a refund, didn’t ask if we felt okay, just simply wrote it down and sent us on our way. I am highly dissapointed in the customer service around here. I’m from Missouri and that is not tolerated if you want to keep a job you always listen to the customers. My grandmother woke up struggling to breathe. I recommend anyone and everyone who would like a decent place to stay for a few nights or even just one like we did to go to another place. I very highly believe she’s going to just put another person in our room in the next hour and that mostly all of those rooms also have mold. Though the room wasn’t up to par ut was tolerable. Also to the beautiful clerk who worked both day shifts I was there. I greatly appreciate you and your great customer skills. Thank again!

They are checking your room number for breakfast and all they serve is grits and biscuits nothing else no egg no meat but the staff is extra aggressive
