Super 8 Motel Marion

This place is TERRIBLE!!! Me and my friends checked in, giving them ample cleaning time, and when we got into the room there were belongings from the previous people, stains on the bed and in the bathroom, hair in the toilet. And honestly it just gave us such a creepy feeling. And when we tried to get a refund, the man at the front tried to gaslight my friends saying the room had been cleaned when it clearly hadn’t or had been bare minimum gone over. And then the front desk guy called the room and tried to gaslight me into believing the room was cleaned. This was an awful experience and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Business trip. Had a good stay. I will definitely recommend friends and family to stay at this place. See you in the next trip.

Room was fine. Clean. As I expected for the reasonable price. I didn't notice any restaurants nearby but there is a BP station next door and a Dollar General next to the station.
