SWAN LAKE GOLF RESORT

We went there for a wedding and stayed in room 240. At around 1am we came back to our room from the bar and were unable to get into our room because the safety latch inside the door had latched itself blocking the door from opening. We had to search around for an employee who spent 30 minutes or so trying to get the door open. He was able to kick the door open. We were told by the that person that this is an ongoing issue and happens in other rooms as well. In the morning at checkout we advised the front desk staff and all they had to say was "oh that's weird" no offer to comp the room or offer a free dinner or golf. I advised them they should not rent that room out until they fix that issue. It was quite annoying to not have access to our room in the middle of the night. My daughter was in a room nearby and had room service just walk into their room prior to it being check out time.

Very nice all the help was amazing thanks again.

We just spent 3 days there. The Clubhouse and pro shop would be as expected, but the private trainer Caleb was phenomenal. Incredibly patient with a well-structured three days of instruction at two hours per day. The Silver and Black courses were challenging but fun. The "resort" advertisement is a bit of a stretch. Rooms were very dated and closer to motel rooms than they were hotel rooms, unfortunately. Showers seem to have been renovated over the last 5-10 years, but were still quite tight. The lowest point was the continental breakfast. Plastic plates and cups made the experience subpar to a Hampton Inn because the food quality was truly poor. The Chophouse Restaurant was friendly and the food was decent and fairly priced. Given the opportunity, the only thing that would bring me back would be Caleb.
