The Oliver Inn is a beautiful home with an elegant, welcoming environment. The rooms are beautifully furnished and quiet. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Tom and Alice are gracious hosts, and easily accommodated a change in rooms — mobility issues of one guest in our party prevented us from staying in the carriage house, and we were quickly moved to the main house where there was a chair lift on one staircase. We would definitey stay at the Oliver Inn again.

Our 3 nights at The Oliver Inn were wonderful. We had been there on a trip several years back and it truly felt like coming home. The home and grounds are so well maintained, the breakfasts are delicious and the hosts Alice and Tom are so welcoming. Hoping to go back again .

We spent one night here on a 2-day trip to visit South Bend. There are about 7 different rooms on the 2nd floor; all of which have private bathrooms. We opted for the Knute Rockne (all rooms are named after famous South Bend people). It had a queen bed, shower, clawfoot tub, view from the 2nd floor turret, and even a little outside sitting area that was private to our room by exiting through a big window. Walls are solid; can't hear other people. Had a recliner and a coach as well. Nice fresh breakfast. Friendly hosts. Easy access to downtown South Bend and several attractions.
