Quality Inn Burlington

DO NOT GO HERE!! I am not one to review but this was the absolute worse hotel I have ever seen. The moment you walk in the lobby it’s a concerning smell. I thought I would still give it a chance. I made it up the second floor and the smell got worse of Urine and Smoke. I made it to my room and I thought I was being pranked. The bed was the most disturbing hotel bed. White sheets with yellow spots all over, the pillows are black marks on them, the smell was unbearable. I stayed in the room for 5 minutes and couldn’t handle it any longer. I checked right back out. The front desk offered to put me in another room and I walked out. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend that you stay here. Just about everything made you wonder, “is this ok” - the cleanliness of the linens and floor in the room, the breakfast offerings that I’m pretty sure were food, the general smell of the place - nothing was quite right but I’d say it wasn’t horribly wrong. Just uneven and uncomfortable. Plus the $1.00/day safe fee. Find another place.

The location off Highway 34 in Burlington, Iowa, it is not the place for anybody to stay in my opinion. When we first got here, we walked inside no AC. It was hot as hell inside the whole building humid musky. The people are actually nice, but you get to the room and it’s not very clean at first glance it is but when you really look at it, it’s not. There were roaches everywhere. I don’t recommend anybody coming to stay here at all until they fix this place up or get new cleaning people or something. After all that I thought the breakfast would be decent, but we get down there and there’s already dead roaches on the floor in the room with the food. Not only that they only serve one thing flat, hard eggs, and tater tots that are stale. And one last thing the fire alarm kept going off for no apparent reason whatsoever and a few times went off in the middle of me sleeping and woke me up so again I don’t recommend anybody to stay here until they fix or just do better
