Village Inn Motel Des Moines

Cheap place to stay at and that's about it. Limited amenities other than a coffee pot in the room. NO fridge,no microwave in the room. Room was clean, bed was ok. Old motel needs a major overhaul. Wanted extra towels in the evening. Front desk staff said we had to turn in our dirty ones first. Definitely not staying here again.

Friendly front desk Staff, a clean & comfortable room. I would stay again in the future when roads are too bad to travel. A path was shoveled right to my car door before I checked out. Good overall nights stay.

Travelled down from Dubuque looking for somewhere to stop and this motel jumped out at me from the side of the road . The lady at the front desk was very nice made me feel wanted and the room I was given was very good . Had all the usual amenities and was in easy reach of a couple of bars an excellent steak house . The stay was that good I stayed an extra night and explored a bit more of the area.
