Hotel Pattee

After ten years and memories of a wonderful first stay, we overnighted at the Hotel Pattee again and it was even better than we remembered. The hotel is kept in pristine condition and the employees at check-in and in the restaurant couldn't have been more cheerful, insightful or enjoyable to speak with. Wyatt, at the front desk, was a pleasant wealth of information and the young lady in the restaurant was very engaging even though it was a slow night. Our room (Gustav Stickley) was beautiful, our dinner and drinks were delightful and we spent the evening and next morning appreciating the history and effort put into the hotel's restoration and the design details and artwork that were introduced. This is and continues to be a hospitality gem in our country and is worth the drive and stay.

My pictures and words cannot adequately express the unique beauty and first class details of this hotel. Each room is uniquely themed and no expense has been spared. The lobby and common areas are beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright design. Warm wood, leather, stone and amazing original art throughout. And a beautiful bowling alley in the basement to top it off. Breakfast was delicious.

We had our wedding at La Poste on May 16th, 2025 and the bridal party used the spa in Hotel Pattee to get ready. It was very spacious and perfect for us to get ready, dressed, and even take some pictures. We used the incredibly gorgeous library, stairway, front doors, etcetera to take wedding photos and the staff was amazing with everything from answering questions, helping our out-of-town guests, and coordinating early check in to our rooms. We stayed in the Louis Armstrong suite the night of and it was gorgeous! Everything was very clean, the pricing was good, and we loved our stay. We could not recommend Hotel Pattee/La Poste enough!
