Staying here was an experience. One of our two rooms was not cleaned. There was beard hair (I hope) on the floor in the bathroom, a previous guest's socks next to the bed, and fast food trash next to the ac. On our departure day, we went downstairs for breakfast and it wasn't up. We were told the breakfast staff did not show up and the lady working couldn't get a hold of anyone to find out what to do. We were told we would get a credit against our room rate for not having breakfast. We did not receive a credit. This Staybridge lacked things we have come to expect at a Staybridge. The walls were thinner and we could hear the conversations of the guests next door. They didnt keep coffee up during the day. No one picked up trash left in the hallways. There was straw wrapper and popcorn in the hall when we checked in and it was still there two days later when we checked out.

Very nice place to stay well in West Des Moines. Thank you for the hospitality.
