Holiday Inn Express Dodge City

Rooms were clean but I like to shower with warm water it don’t stay warm very long!!Other than that our stay was nice👍🏼 but we would definitely stay again!!

This hotel makes sense for a minimalist who just needs a place to lay their head and doesn’t care about luxuries. No closet, ironing board, no extra pillows, no elevator, no breakfast. Again basics for the traveler who doesn’t care for all that. They are trying to remodel so they do put some care into the hotel. HOWEVER, I don’t care how cheap a hotel is, cleanliness should always be a priority. There was hair all of the floors, room and bathroom, dirt, small bits of trash, water bottles behind the nightstand, and the couch was disgusting. There are few plug outlets. My husband had to pull the bed out to find me one for my cpap machine. Three lamps but can only plug in one due to the location of the plug ins. I would’ve given it a 5 had the room been clean. I do want to say the front desk clerk was outstanding. He had great customer service.

Started out great. Front desk clerk was amazing. Baby got sick, threw up on bed. Tried to be honest about the whole thing. Said he doesn't need to go look because he has "other" ways of knowing. The maids he employs will take pictures of your stuff and show him. Gave us stink eye the entire stay. One maid was really nice tho. Manager blamed my dogs and called the police. Kicked us out with 4 more nights to go. No refund. No talking it out. Just went from 0 to 100 when he walked through the front door to paying for damages and telling the police we were trespassing now. Even said he doesn't like dogs.... while someone with a dog was checking in... real class act. Shady, rude, and a lil prejudice. Cops were nice. 1/10 Price was about right.
