Knights Inn Emporia Ks

The television didn't work. The mattress was horrible. Walls were damaged and poorly repaired. The place had a peculiar odor. Management was rude and inconsiderate. I would rather sleep in a tent than stay at this place.

Bed sheets had fuzz and one short hair on them. Otherwise clean. Room old. Breakfast consisted of cereal, whole milk, bananas, pastries, yogurt and coffee. Hot shower. Felt safe. Just passing thru and got reservations on line an hour before stopping. Check in staff fine. I’d prefer something a little nicer, but this sufficed. I’d give it a 2.5 out of 5 overall.

Paid for property online. Employee wanted cash for my pets which I assume went under the table. Signs all over the property staying if you smoke in the room or do not claim pets they charge unreal prices to clean and paint the room. I got to the room which smelled like smoke and had not had a fresh paint job since the Carter Administration and probably hadnt been cleaned since close to that time. I assume the hotel charges people an extra penalty under the table and then does not do anything. Room had stains on the bedspread, hairs all over the bathroom floor, and either had stains or fecal matter on the toilet seat. Plus of the room was location and price.
