This property has a quiet location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. However, travelers should be aware that the pool and fitness center were not usable during my stay, despite being advertised as available amenities. Pool Condition As an Aquatics Director and trained lifeguard, I document pool conditions professionally. The pool had visible algae, cloudy water, and discoloration around the drain. This indicates improper chemical balance and inadequate maintenance. The pool was not safe for swimming. Fitness Center Condition The fitness center had one cardio machine, and it was out of order. The remaining equipment consisted only of free weights. Travelers expecting a full fitness center may be disappointed. Parking Note The hotel charges for parking, but free parking is available directly across the street. Travelers may want to consider this option. Positive Notes • Quiet AC with wall control • Clean rooms • Good breakfast options • Ice machine in a separate room (great design choice) Passport Prince Recommendation This hotel has potential, but travelers should verify the status of the pool and fitness center before booking, especially if those amenities are important to their stay. --

comfortable enough- and while not super close to anything- it wasn't too bad to get around. Key feature is price- and the value of the rooms/etc is pretty good all things considered

Room smells like cigarette smoke. Can’t open the window because outside smells like straight cow manure. Front desk staff was really friendly and actually phenomenal, but I was ill from the cigarette smoke in the room and after checking out our belongings still smell like cigarette smoke. I mentioned the smile to the front desk, but nothing was done and it was late and we were tired and we had already paid so we just slept in the room, but I woke up several times feeling really ill and we both had headaches in the morning. I tried calling to speak to the manager the day we checked out, but I was told I would get a call back and never did. I called again the next day and the same thing, the manager never called me back. I tried reaching out to IHG Customer service and they told me I could only get help from the manager at the hotel. I also have photos of the lack of cleanliness in the room and how it is not up to the standards of Holiday Inn Express. I also tried to place a review directly on the hotel site and it was saying that there was no record of my stay which I find extremely fishy. I think that because I was trying to leave a one star review it was blocked from being posted..
