Motel 6 Manhattan

Late night bad choice. My son flew from Germany and I drove from Texas. It was after midnight and we were exhausted and lost and saw the sign. Just needed a room for 2 days. I have stayed at many Motel 6s on my travels and most were plain and simple but clean. This place is horrible and much more noticeably rundown in the light of day. No amenities whatsoever. No coffee maker, no microwave, no mini-fridge. The bedspreads had cigarette holes. Could not sit in the desk chair as it was broken. Wifi appears on the outside sign but it is $5 per day. Shady-looking characters outside the door and in the parking lot at all hours. At $47 per night this was the worst I have ever seen in my many years of traveling/road trips.

Stayed here after a Kansas State Football game. The place is pretty run down and low amenities, but at least we were able to get a room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. It just felt kind of grimy...

Bad experience !! In town for Football weekend with two other couples. Room were infested with small bugs and two of the three rooms had not had the linen changed. Being a football weekend no other rooms were available in the area.The manager agreed to refund the room charge for self and two other couples
