Doubletree Hotel Overland Park-Corporate Woods

Avoid this hotel, especially with a sports team! The manager authorized a several hundred-dollar, unfounded charge to our credit card for a 'cleaning fee.' We had to spend more than 10 hours trying to work with that hotel/manager and eventually our credit card company to get the charge reversed. We have traveled with sports teams for 12 years and never experienced anything like this. It is pretty unreal that a hotel would try to get away with something like that. I would absolutely never stay there again. On top of this, the ice machine was out on our floor, the water machine in the fitness center was out and there is no onsite laundry. The closest laundromat is 10 minutes away. All of those things made it really inconvenient for our team.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip. Whilst it wasn't anything special, my room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. I used the pool - I was the only one in there and it was good to burn off some calories. Breakfast was good. The only negative was the noise of the TV coming through the connecting door to the next room, although it wasn't bad enough to stop me sleeping

Our room was very clean. It was noisy in the morning with children playing in the hall but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The room needs a bit of upkeep as the ceiling paint was cracking and falling off. There were a few shabby areas around the property. Front desk staff were very friendly. The cookies were amazing as always.
