Holiday Inn and Suites Overland Park West

It had potential but the experience really was a let down. I can’t blame it on any one person. It was a team effort. I reserved a king suite. I called the morning of my reservation and confirmed the room type. When I arrived I was given a keycard to a standard double queen. “Someone” had switched my room and all the king suites were taken. After an hour of investigation I was given a double king suite at the same rate as the single king suite I reserved. Great! All would have been forgiven until The next morning I requested and was granted a late check out. But two hours before that time my keycard stopped working. The front desk associate brought up a new keycard so I could get in my room. Okay But an hour later, one hour before my check out time, a housekeeper opened the door. I told her my check out time was still an hour away. She apologized. Okay Individually these errors would not be a big deal. But combined they indicate a failure of management to develop a team that coordinated and communicated well. Attention to detail is needed. I won’t return.

Got delayed due to tornado in Ottawa but Angela helped me still order food with 2 min before restaurant closed! She even gave me here last silverware from her desk so I could eat in my room.

Loved the property and angela was amazing at the front desk!!! Kind, and helpful 👍🏼☺️☺️ We will definitely stay here again.And in most part because of her great attitude! Jim Elsea
