Best Western Atrium Gardens

Run down and in desperate need of repairs and updating. Holes in the tile, no water pressure, frayed shower curtain, bed feels like a brick, pillows are uncomfortable, other ppls hairs in the towels, bedding, and wash cloths, allowed guests to yell and run up and down the hallways, constant pool parties so you couldn’t use the pool, guest gave their kids whistles and allowed them to run up and down the hallway for hours blowing whistles, the front desk didn’t get back up from management and was overwhelmed. The only good experience was how nice the young ladies were at the front desk. They were overbooked and overwhelmed for what they described as a busy weekend. For the price we paid, we could have stayed somewhere much nicer and quieter. We are upset we had to pay money to not get sleep and not be able to use the pool.

Staff was terrific, room was clean, breakfast was plenty and good, pool looked like fun with lots of kids, no hot tub. It was very nice area in the atrium for fun with family. Slept well but I always use my own pillows, provided pillows were pretty lumpy. Coffee in the room, fridge and microwave worked great. Lots of hot water for shower. Only reason not a 5 is that there is some old age showing here and there. Our room was on the first floor and easy to access from the rear door. We had plenty of room to park our truck and trailer and felt the area was safe. Walked to Texas Roadhouse from the hotel. Cracker Barrel is right next door as well.

This hotel is located right off the highway and while it shows it age a little bit, all and all it was a nice stay for the most part. Pros: Staff was very friendly The pool area was very nice with a greenhouse atmosphere but it definitely shows its age Video games for the kids Outdoor gazebo Decent gym Located near several restaurants Large jacuzzi bath in room (can’t rate it but you will see why in cons) Cons: Pool was nice but definitely aged Cleanliness is questionable, we found a large clump of hair on the shower wall leaving us to question how good they clean the rooms There was feces in the hallway Some of the clientele were sketchy, not sure if people are living in some of the rooms
