Auburn Place Hotel & Suites Paducah

Room 318 Check in was a breeze. Kathy and the young woman manager were so polite and helpful. Kathy greeted us warmly and gave is wayer and chips. Very easy to find the hotel. Located near many restaurants...some within walking distance. Outside was quiet even as close to interstate. Room door is heavy. On a top spring...just be cateful. Room was very quiet. Minor hallway noise. This room is next to the elevator and did not hear it once. Room was very clean. Bed and bath lincareful. Soft, clean and plentiful. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom stocked well. Room was dark and quiet. Typical good quality free breakfast. No hot items. Dinning area very clean and set up smartly. We had a marvelously, awesome diner Attendant, I failed to get this sweet Lady's name. She had everything in ship shape and spotless. We had a very good conversation. Good start to our day. Thank you.

We stayed here on our way home from our vacation. We've never stayed in a Spark hotel. We had to stay in a hearing accessible room because nothing else was available. The bathroom had a tub with lots of hand holds and a seat that flipped down. Not sure why it wasn't a walk in shower since anyone handicapped would need to step over the side of the tub. There was no counter top in the room. Just the sink. We used the luggage holder and set up the ironing board for a counter beside the sink. Kind of a pain but it worked. I did like the high toilet. Easier to sit on when you're a senior citizen. Bed was very comfortable. We bring fans with us anymore due to traffic or plane noise so we didn't hear anything. We would stay here again. Staff was friendly.

We’ve stayed at this hotel in the past year when it was Auburn and being remodeled, at the time they offered a medical rate and we stayed there and it was very nice. They remodeled and took over the name Spark by Hilton and gave you much less for your money. Room 322 has a fire alarm with 2 tiny green lights on it over the bed that lights up the entire room. If you need darkness to sleep avoid that room! In the past when we’ve stayed, they had a “decent” breakfast with some warm items, now you pay more for basically nothing! The yogurt machine doesn’t work, the orange juice taste like water. The coffee is lacking. You tell people at the desk or at the breakfast area and everybody just kind of shrugs and says “oh that’s no good.” The rooms however were mostly clean and the beds were mostly comfortable although staying at a hotel is always less comfortable than at home.
