HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS PADUCAH

Stayed here as a stop on our road trip from Omaha to Pigeon Forge. Plenty of restaurants close by, right next to the highway but road noise was not a concern. Pool hours were supposed to be until 10pm but due to some maintenance issues (lighting missing) around the pool it needed to close at 8pm. Wasn’t a problem for us as we had little kids with us who got pool time in earlier but could be a concern for those arriving later and expecting it to be open. Pool is outdoors and was warm in late July. They also had pool toys available for use - think pool noodles, rings and sticks to dive for, etc. Breakfast was a standard selection and good. Would stay here again without hesitation.

This is our second year making this hotel our stop on the way home from Florida to Illinois and it will continue to be. Front desk at check in was very friendly and helpful. We were in our room in less than five minutes after entering the hotel. An hour after checking out we received a call that my wife left a small make up case behind. They are going to FedEx it to us. Above and beyond and special thanks to housekeeping for turning it in so quickly. Very convenient location, literally right off the interstate.

Check in was easy. Room was dated but clean. Sleep quality was good with blackout curtains, comfortable bed and quiet air conditioner. It was warm during my stay so we sat on the patio. Not my first stay at this property and I will stay here again.
